A 'WANDERING AROUND OUTDOORS' LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
October, 13 – 18, 2012 – 6 days
Eastern Sierra Nevada / Owens Valley / Bodie / Bristlecone / Fall color / Mono Lake / Native American Petroglyps / Upper Yosemite NP and beyond.
A 6 DAY WAO Field Workshop. This is our most extensive and wide-ranging field workshop of the year.
Wandering Around Outdoors (‘WAO’) workshops have been designed to help unlock the mysteries of landscape art for photographers of all levels and experience.
A multitude of dramatic eastern Sierra Nevada landscapes are our objective including a world famous movie location, mysterious tuffa towers, thousand year old trees, a national historic park, autumn color displays, the best preserved mining town in the west and an afternoon visit to a world renown national park all captured between Lone Pine and Bridgeport, CA. Locations include: The Alabama Hills,Manzanar National Historic Site, the White Mountains bristlecone pine forest, the spectacular autumn color of the Eastern Sierra, Mono Lake and its enigmatic tuffa towers, Bodie State Historic Park and a visit to upper Yosemite National Park / Tuolumne Meadows via Tioga Pass. Every ‘WAO’ Landscape Photography Workshop offers a complete in-depth curriculum including constructive explanations and demonstrations of the artistic principles andsubtleties of landscape photography that are essential to the creation of successful landscape art. You will be guided and assisted by the instructors at every step as you learn to “read” the landscape like an artist.

Tuition: $895.00 (minimum 5) Registration deadline – when all seats are filled. Board, Room, Transportation, Park Entrance and Use Fees are not included.
